I talk with Catie Friend about her transition from stay-at-home mom to official speaker for the International Ski Mountaineering Federation. Catie shares with us how she landed that first speaker job and how interviewing Kilian Jornet played a role in what happened next; the challenges that came with being a freelancer in the extreme sports industry; the concerns she had to workout to find the right balance for her family; her biggest lessons learnt; and some great advice for anyone considering sports commentating.
